(The Post Millennial)—On Saturday, President Donald Trump said that he has not given any thought to cancelling Elon Musk’s federal contracts as the feud between the two figures seems to be dying down.
During a phone interview, when he was asked about potentially canceling the contracts, he responded, “I’d be allowed to do that. But I haven’t given it any thought,” according to the New York Post.
He was also asked during the interview, “Is there anything else you just want people to know about the status?”
“No, not at all. We’re doing great,” he added, “The bill is great. It looks like we’re going to get it passed. Looks strongly like we’re going to get it passed.” Trump said that he was “very confident” that the “Big Beautiful Bill” would pass through Congress by July 4.
The outlet reported that when Trump was asked about if Musk would later donate to Democrats in the election, the president said that the entrepreneur would face consequences for that.
