It was a very good call, and we, actually, seemed to be on a similar wavelength,” Trump stated on Truth Social. “I told Governor Walz that I would have Tom Homan call him, and that what we are looking for are any and all Criminals that they have in their possession. The Governor, very respectfully, understood that, and I will be speaking to him in the near future.”
The president had previously confirmed on Truth Social that he was deploying Tom Homan, who leads the administration’s deportation agenda, to Minnesota amid the public uproar.
The Trump administration has stood by shootings, noting that Good and Pretti had allegedly posed serous danger to ICE and Border Patrol agents. Good had hit an ICE agent with her car before she was fatally shot and Pretti had allegedly engaged with Border Patrol agents while carrying a loaded gun before he was wrestled to the ground and shot.
