(Red State)—”The View” cohost Sunny Hostin had a moment over President Donald Trump’s response to the anti-ICE riots in Los Angeles and suggested Trump is “militarizing” California as “a test run” for the rest of the country.
During the ABC talk show on Tuesday, the panel debated the reasons Trump sent in the National Guard troops to the city and deployed hundreds of U.S. Marines from Camp Pendleton to LA after the local law enforcement came under attack by the lawless rioters.

“Trump is militarizing that state [California] as a test run, to make sure he can do it in places like New York and other sanctuary cities,” Hostin claimed, with zero proof to back her claim. “There is a plan to this, in my view.”
“And I really think that there’s no question that LAPD [Los Angeles Police Department] that has 9,000 police officers, could’ve handled this quite well,” she added.
There are so many problems with Hostin’s comments. The first of which is that they aren’t supported by the facts on the ground.
