(DCNF)—President Donald Trump condemned Elon Musk’s newly-announced third party on Sunday while speaking to reporters in New Jersey.
Musk posted on X Saturday that he had just launched the “America Party” to restore “freedom” to Americans. When a reporter asked Trump for his reaction, the president immediately said it was a “ridiculous” move by Musk.
“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party. We have a tremendous success with the Republican party. The Democrats have lost their way, but it’s always been a two-party system,” Trump said. “And I think starting a third party just adds to confusion. It really seems to have been developed for two parties. Third parties have never worked. So he can have fun with it but I think it’s ridiculous.”
Trump also railed against Musk and his creation of the new party in a Sunday Truth Social post following his comments to reporters.
“I am saddened to watch Elon Musk go completely ‘off the rails,’ essentially becoming a TRAIN WRECK over the past five weeks. He even wants to start a Third Political Party, despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the United States – The System seems not designed for them,” the president wrote. “The one thing Third Parties are good for is the creation of Complete and Total DISRUPTION & CHAOS, and we have enough of that with the Radical Left Democrats, who have lost their confidence and their minds!”
Musk started to repeatedly raise the notion of forming the “America Party” to appeal to disaffected fiscal conservatives and libertarians due to his frustration with Republican lawmakers backing Trump’s “big, beautiful” bill — which the president signed into law on Friday.
However, political experts argue that it would be better for Musk to spend his billions to buy influence within the Republican Party’s existing structure instead of challenging America’s established two-party duopoly.
“Third parties are like honeybees — they sting and then they die,” Georgetown political historian Michael Kazin told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Musk posted an X poll on Friday asking if Americans “want independence from the two-party (some would say uniparty) system” by forming “the America Party.”
Nearly two-thirds of X users voted in favor of the new party, while slightly over one third voted against it, prompting him to announce the creation of the “America Party” on Saturday.
CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings also warned Musk on Sunday that the “America Party” could split right-leaning Americans and help Democrats win elections.
“My humble advice to Elon, who I admire very much, actually, is that you may be dividing the forces of people who want to save Western civilization to the benefit of the people who don’t,” Jennings said. “And so, to the extent that this effort would divide conservatives and Republicans against each other, that wouldn’t be helpful, because it would leave the country to people who want unfettered immigration, who don’t share your fiscal views, and so on and so forth.”

I would support a 3rd party and voted for Ross Perot. Everything that man said was going to happen has. I certainly didn’t vote for a Zionist Jew for President and sat it out. And you people are all going to be sorry you didn’t. Trump has flipped on every promise he’s made. Including illegals. This “Peace” President even staged a war crime Pearl Harbor style attack on a sovereign nation. And we’ve been bad mouthing Japan for 80 years for doing the same thing. Now they’re illegals unless they pick crops or work in Trump’s hotels. And we always had a guest worker program. WTF is this? Trump was always a huge farce. What’s next? We find out the attempts on his life were staged? It certainly is the Jewish way.
I can only assume that something is in the works for what were two buddy buddy men working together to Make America Prosperous Again, and now just six months later they are each others throats, like spoiled brats. We all know why Elon Musk is angry and it is because everything he uncovers Trump then slices and dices and then with rogue judges getting in the way and Congress will not take up the challenge along with the DOJ and nail the criminals who are exploiting vulnerable politicians who are easily manipulated. THUS NOTHING GETS DONE.
iN OTHER WORDS; OUR TWO PARTY SYSTEM IS IN A DEADLOCK TO THE POINT THAT THEY CAN’T GET ANYTHING REAL DONE EXCEPT GETTING THAT “GREAT BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL” PASSED WHICH BASICALLY DEVALUED EVERYTHING MUSK AND HIS TEAM MANAGED TO DIG UP.
So Musk should ask point blank; I am workng to save America billions of dollars and then Trump and Congress put together a bill that is over a trillion dollars, and we can’t even pay the interest on our debt. I’d be pissed as well !!!
I would say change the name of the MAGA party to The American Constitution Party (ACP) and change the name of the Democrat Party to the United Socialist Chinese Communist Party (USCCP). It would make member politics and agendas transparent.
