John Catsimatidis, the billionaire CEO of WABC Radio and Red Apple Media, has stepped forward with a direct plea for Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa to exit the New York City mayoral race. This comes amid growing fears that a divided field could hand the keys to City Hall over to Democratic contender Zohran Mamdani, whose radical agenda threatens to push the city further into chaos.
Catsimatidis, a Republican who once ran for mayor himself in 2013, expressed concerns “that Sliwa’s continued candidacy could split the vote and inadvertently help another candidate.” He added that the move is essential to consolidating support behind a ‘viable alternative’ and avoiding what he described as a potentially damaging outcome for the city if the vote remains divided.
Sliwa, the founder of the Guardian Angels and a longtime voice on WABC Radio—currently on leave during his campaign—faces mounting pressure from within his own circles. Hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman echoed the sentiment earlier, warning that unless Sliwa bows out, “we are toast.”
With the election set for November 4, 2025, these calls reflect a strategic push to rally behind former Governor Andrew Cuomo, running as an independent, to counter Mamdani’s surge.
Recent polls paint a stark picture. A Gotham Polling/AARP New York survey released on Monday indicates that in a head-to-head matchup without Sliwa, Cuomo could seriously challenge Mamdani, who currently leads in a three-way race. Another Quinnipiac poll from October 9, 2025, shows Mamdani ahead overall, but the numbers tighten dramatically if conservative votes unify.
Betting markets like Polymarket give Mamdani a commanding edge now, but insiders whisper that shadowy progressive networks are inflating his support through questionable tactics, aiming to install a leader who aligns with their anti-police, pro-open borders vision.
The race intensified after incumbent Mayor Eric Adams abruptly dropped out amid federal investigations, leaving Mamdani, Cuomo, and Sliwa to battle it out. Their October 16, 2025, debate at 30 Rock exposed deep rifts: Mamdani defended his democratic socialist roots and calls to defund the police, while Cuomo positioned himself as a no-nonsense enforcer of law and order, and Sliwa hammered on street crime. Critics argue that Mamdani’s ties to far-left groups, including his vocal support for boycotts against Israel, signal a dangerous shift toward policies that could embolden criminals and weaken America’s greatest city.
Behind the scenes, some speculate that Adams’ exit was no accident—perhaps orchestrated by elite forces eager to clear the path for Mamdani, whose platform echoes the globalist agendas that have already eroded public safety in places like San Francisco and Seattle. Cuomo is viewed as the lesser of two evils.
If Sliwa stays in, the split could deliver NYC into the hands of those who prioritize ideology over security, leaving residents to pay the price in rising crime and economic decline.
As the clock ticks toward Election Day, Catsimatidis’ intervention serves as a wake-up call: unity among those who aren’t radically insane might be the only thing that could stop Mamdani.

Three Reasons a Coffee Gift Set From This Christian Company Is Perfect for Christmas
When you’re searching for a Christmas gift that’s meaningful, useful, and rooted in faith, you don’t want to settle for anything generic. This season is filled with noise — mass-produced products, last-minute picks, and trends that fade as quickly as they appear. But one gift stands apart because it blends genuine quality with a message that matters: a coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee.
This small Christian-owned company has become a favorite among believers who want to support faith-driven businesses while giving friends and family something they’ll actually enjoy. Here are three reasons a Promised Grounds Coffee gift set may be the most thoughtful and impactful present you give this year.
1. It’s Truly Delicious Coffee
Too many “gift-worthy” coffees look beautiful in the package but disappoint when the cup is poured. Promised Grounds takes the opposite approach — exceptional taste first, thoughtful presentation second.
Their beans are sourced with care, roasted in small batches, and crafted to bring out a rich, smooth flavor profile that appeals to both casual drinkers and true coffee lovers. Whether someone enjoys bold, dark roasts or lighter, more delicate blends, every sip reflects quality that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the biggest specialty brands.
Simply put: this coffee is good. Really good. Some say it’s absolutely fantastic. If you want a gift that won’t be re-gifted, ignored, or shoved in a cabinet, this is it.
2. It Spreads the Word While Serving a Real Purpose
There are many Christian gifts that are meaningful… but not exactly practical. There are also useful gifts that have nothing to do with faith. Promised Grounds Coffee bridges both worlds beautifully.
Each gift set delivers an encouraging, faith-centered message through its packaging and presentation — a simple but powerful reminder of God’s goodness during the Christmas season. The cups are especially popular and serve as a daily reminder of the blessings from our Lord. At the same time, the product itself is something people will actually use and appreciate every single day.
It’s a gift that uplifts the spirit and fills the mug. A gift that points loved ones toward Scripture while still being part of the normal rhythm of life. And in a culture that increasingly pushes faith to the margins, giving a gift that quietly but confidently honors Christ can make a deeper impact than you might expect.
3. It’s Affordable, Valuable, and Elegantly Presented
Many people want to give something meaningful without breaking their Christmas budget. Promised Grounds Coffee strikes that perfect balance — the sets look and feel premium, but the price remains accessible.
The packaging is classy, clean, and gift-ready, making it ideal for:
- Family members of all ages
- Co-workers or employees
- Church friends or small-group leaders
- Hosts, neighbors, and last-minute gift needs
It’s the kind of gift that feels more expensive than it is — and more thoughtful than most of what you’ll find on store shelves.
The Perfect Blend of Faith, Flavor, and Christmas Cheer
A coffee gift set from Promised Grounds Coffee checks every box: a gift that tastes amazing, conveys your faith, supports a Christian business, and brings daily enjoyment to the person who receives it. In a season when so many gifts are forgotten, this one stands out for all the right reasons.
If you want a Christmas present that reflects your values and delivers genuine joy, Promised Grounds Coffee is the perfect place to start.

No! Pick better candidates then.
Several years ago, there was a survey published saying that one third of NYC residents had a close relative in prison or under supervision of the penal system. It’s no surprise that NYC residents prefer their criminals to their own safety. No one wants to hear Sliwa’s public safety message. Some of these refugees are moving out my way about two hours away not to enjoy the country life but get away from the rat hole they voted for themselves bringing their drugs, gangs, feral children and their city life with them. I haven’t been to NYC in nearly thirty years but it’s coming here.
The cities are first then they/criminals expand into the suburbs and beyond.
Our politicians are so corrupt and sell out for a few pieces of silver thinking their lives and the lives of their family will never be adversely affected by their decisions.
What an awful choice to make. Again with having to chose between the lesser of two evils. Cuomo, can never forget that fool and his antics during the scamdemic. Don’t live in the area, so know nothing of the Sliwa guy. But at this point, why shouldn’t he stay in the race and Cuomo drop out? I think, if that Mamdawi whatever his name is gets elected, the feds should immediately wall in that whole city, and no one can leave it. They don’t deserve to be part of the rest of this country if they think that guy is a good fit to run their vile city. And start walling off the other cities acting like this one as well. Just shut this nonsense down.
Step down now and give Coumo a chance,,, if you dont ,,,
1. Mandammy will change the landscape of NYC in a few short years to look like London today.
2. You will be forever remembered as the guy who helped him.
3. at least with Cuomo you will have another bite at the apple and a chance in 4 years…. Mandammy wins? not a chance he will become so powerful no one will unseat him.
I figure either way, Boomers are toast!
