(Red State)—Well, you know if leftists are going off the rails, at some point 86-year-old Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was going to factor into the story.
She showed up at the detention center at the Edward Roybal building in Los Angeles on Sunday, with some press in tow. She marched up to the entrance and said she was there to see the California SEIU President, David Huerta, who had been arrested on Friday for allegedly interfering with law enforcement.
But the response to her was just glorious.
Waters claimed they should let her in because she was a member of Congress. They said they weren’t letting anyone in, that she needed to contact their public affairs office, and shut the door in her face, as she struggled to open it and failed.
What a perfect response.
