(Trending Politics)—A Los Angeles man who was using his X account to expose the identities and locations of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which led to targeted violence aimed at stopping immigration enforcement actions, indicated that he may soon be facing criminal charges.
Jack Quillin has been identified as the alleged owner of the “LAScanner” X page, provided rioters with a real-time map of ICE staging areas and raid targets as they occurred.
Federal agents were initially attacked by rioters while conducting immigration enforcement operations in the Los Angeles fashion district on Friday night, when a large mob descended on their position and proceeded to attack. The agents were later surrounded in a federal building while the Los Angeles Police Department took more than two hours to respond.
Coordinated attacks continued on Saturday, when federal agents came under sustained assault while gearing up for a raid in the community of Paramount. Several ICE agents were injured when rioters pelted large rocks at moving vehicles, causing windshields to completely shatter.
