(Slay News)—Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) sparked outrage after accusing millions of Americans who support President Donald Trump of being “mentally ill.”
Crockket made the remarks during a podcast appearance with liberal media figure Katie Couric.
In her remarks on Couric’s “Next Question” podcast, Crockett didn’t hold back.
The congresswoman labeled Trump’s base as mentally unwell and insisted that opposition to the president should be universal, not just partisan.
“We’ve got a mental health crisis in this country because everyone — no matter how you affiliate yourself — should be against Trump. Period,” Crockett declared.
