(Red State)—You have to give Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) credit for consistency; every time he opens his mouth, something stupid comes out. In this latest outpouring of attempted hoodwinkery, Senator Spartacus (yes, that’s sarcasm) is lauding the rioters in the Los Angeles area and slamming President Trump for doing something about it when nobody else will.
I mean, just get a load of this guy.
Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., suggested the Los Angeles riots that have wreaked havoc on the city are “peaceful” on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sunday, and accused President Donald Trump of “sowing chaos” with his nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration.
“The reality is, we see peaceful protests launching in Los Angeles,” the New Jersey senator said, “A lot of these peaceful protests are being generated because the president of the United States is sowing chaos and confusion by arresting people who are showing up for their immigration hearings.”
You know, Senator, when you lie to people, you’re supposed to include a kernel of truth, so people don’t have their ability to willingly suspend their disbelief completely destroyed. It’s not “sowing chaos and confusion” to detain and repatriate people who are in the country illegally. These people knowingly entered the country illegally and knowingly remain in the country illegally, and sensible people have little sympathy for them. President Trump made this a major part of his presidential campaign, and he won convincingly.
So, this is what the American people voted for.
