The transfer was first reported by the New York Sun and later verified by Benjamin O’Cone, a Bureau of Prisons inmate locator official, who stated in an email: “We can confirm, Ghislaine Maxwell is in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan in Bryan, Texas.”
The relocation comes amid ongoing legal efforts by Maxwell’s team to challenge her conviction. Her attorneys are currently petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the 2021 guilty verdict, in which she was found responsible for recruiting and grooming underage girls for Epstein’s abuse network.
