Epstein Victim: Bill Barr, Leon Black “Present” While Jay-Z and Harvey Weinstein Abused Her

by Arpad Barta
January 31, 2026

Newly unsealed files from the Department of Justice have thrust several high-profile figures back into the spotlight of Jeffrey Epstein’s sordid world. A redacted FBI intake form from July 2019 details harrowing accusations from a woman who says she was repeatedly abducted, drugged, and sexually assaulted in settings tied to the convicted sex offender. Among those named in her account: rapper Jay-Z (Shawn Carter), disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, billionaire financier Leon Black, and former Attorney General William Barr.

The document, part of the latest Epstein files dump released by the DOJ, paints a picture of repeated trauma spanning years. The victim described being snatched from her home in 1996 by an unknown person, only to wake up in what she believed was Epstein’s Florida mansion.

“She later awoke in the presence of Harvey Weinstein and Shawn Carter (Jay-Z) while Weinstein had inserted his fingers into [redacted],” the form states. She estimated enduring seven such abductions, each leading to sexual abuse in lavish indoor locations, with Epstein himself allegedly taking part in some instances.

The allegations don’t stop there. In 2007, the woman claimed another assault at a party where Weinstein and rapper Pusha T were present. She reported being drugged before Pusha T engaged in sexual acts with her. Adding to the gravity, she recalled Leon Black and William Barr being present during some of these encounters, though specifics on their involvement remain vague in the redacted document. The victim also spoke of feeling stalked and surveilled, convinced those involved were pulling strings to keep tabs on her.

None of these men—Jay-Z, Weinstein, Pusha T, Black, or Barr—face charges related to Epstein’s crimes. Weinstein continues to serve time for separate sexual assault convictions in New York and California. Representatives for Jay-Z have not responded to requests for comment, while Black and Barr have previously denied any wrongdoing in Epstein-related matters.

Black, the Apollo Global Management co-founder, settled a lawsuit in 2023 accusing him of rape, paying $62.5 million without admitting liability. Barr, who oversaw the Justice Department during Epstein’s 2019 arrest and subsequent death in custody, has called Epstein’s alleged suicide a “perfect storm of screw-ups” but faced scrutiny over his handling of the case.

This release comes amid ongoing scrutiny of Epstein’s network, which ensnared politicians, celebrities, and business titans. Epstein died in a Manhattan jail cell in August 2019, officially ruled a suicide, but questions linger about whether powerful forces silenced him to protect their secrets. His longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, yet many believe the full extent of the operation remains hidden.

These claims revive longstanding suspicions of a shadowy elite cabal exploiting the vulnerable while evading accountability. Epstein’s island and properties served as playgrounds for the powerful, where influence and impunity allegedly reigned. Why did it take until 2026 for this specific document to see daylight? Some speculate delays stem from efforts to shield key players, especially those with ties to government and finance. Barr’s role in the Trump administration, where he pushed back against what he called “deep state” interference, now ironically places him under the microscope in this context.

The persistent drip of Epstein disclosures demands not just exposure but real justice—prosecutions that pierce the veil of celebrity and status. Victims like this woman, who lived without a fixed home and in constant fear, deserve answers and closure.

Federal authorities must dig deeper. If these allegations hold even a kernel of truth, they point to a network far more insidious than previously admitted. The public won’t settle for redactions and denials; it’s time to drag every last detail into the light. Until then, the Epstein files serve as a grim reminder: power unchecked breeds monstrosity, and silence only perpetuates the cycle.
