Democrat Congressman Brad Sherman went viral when images of him on a plane were posted on social media. In the images, Sherman can be seen scrolling, mouth agape, to see multiple provocative images of females on his iPad. To his credit, he did not claim the images were fake.

He and his team decided that the best way to handle the situation was to blame the X algorithm.
“This was nothing more than scrolling through Twitter, and, unfortunately, Elon Musk has ruined the Twitter algorithm to give people content that they don’t ask for or subscribe to,” a spokesperson for Sherman told Fox News Digital in an email.
“This was on Twitter. These pictures came up on ‘For You’,” Sherman told Punchbowl News, adding he viewed a variety of posts during his cross-country flight.
His and his team’s responses open up a different can of worms.
X’s “For You” tab acts as a content curator. The algorithm detects what a user is most interested in and presents them more of the same. Considering it seems his feed is loaded with images of scantily-clad females, it’s almost certain that his account has searched for such images in the past.
And when he finds them, he doesn’t hesitate to spend time looking at them, perhaps even enlarging them. That’s what drives the algorithm to serve such a preponderance of lewd images.
