Update: Truth Social appears to be back up a little over an hour after it went down.
Original Story: President Donald Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social, went down within minutes of America’s attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. It is unknown whether the servers were crashed by a massive influx of traffic or if this was a cyberattack.
According to the Hindustan Times:
Truth Social went down across the United States on Saturday evening. As of 8:20 p.m. EDT, DownDetector had received over 1,700 reports of outages, with many users experiencing server issues affecting both the app and the website.
The platform crashed just minutes after President Donald Trump announced that the US had bombed Iran’s nuclear sites.
Iran is known for having a very sophisticated cyberterrorism division. Outside forces who are opposed to American intervention in Iran would also be capable of engaging in such an attack. But the most likely scenario is that the servers were simply overloaded as President Trump communicates directly with the people from his platform.
This is breaking and will be updated when more is known.

It’s not down. Just checked it.
