Bill Ackman Makes Astounding Claim About Why Curtis Sliwa Won’t Drop Out of the NYC Mayoral Race

by JD Rucker
October 22, 2025

Emotions have been flaring this week as many Republicans and conservatives concerned about Marxist Zohran Mamdani being the next mayor of New York City have called on Republican Curtis Sliwa to drop out. They believe that Independent leftist candidate and former governor Andrew Cuomo is the only person who can beat Mamdani and Sliwa is splitting the vote.

Among the most vocal advocates for Sliwa’s exit is hedge fund manager Bill Ackman. He and other NYC billionaires have allegedly even offered money to Sliwa in exchange for backing Cuomo, though those reports are unconfirmed.

Now, Ackman believes he has uncovered the reason why Sliwa won’t leave. On an X post, he said:

I spoke to someone who knows @CurtisSliwa and now I understand why he is staying in the race.

The City has an 8 to 1 matching program for NYC donors. Sliwa got ~$5m of matching funds from the city for his campaign.

According to my source, Sliwa’s wife, friends and others are on the campaign payroll, and he and they are enjoying living off the city taxpayers who are funding his race/lifestyle. He doesn’t want to end his campaign and have to return the funds.

Follow the money.

When I asked why he doesn’t care about NYC? my source said:

‘He doesn’t give a sh-t.’

Clearly, this is hearsay, but my source is extremely credible and a highly respected person, and he knows Sliwa well.

Curtis, please correct the record if I got anything wrong.

What personal or other related expenses is your campaign paying for?

Is your wife and/or other family or friends on the campaign payroll or receiving any funding?

Please clarify the record.

Reactions to Ackman’s post were mixed. Those who have supported Sliwa are calling Ackman a liar while those who have called for Sliwa to drop out are joining Ackman in pointing fingers.

Recent polls have shown Cuomo gaining ground on Mamdani. All but one poll in October show Mamdani below a unified Cuomo-Sliwa vote. But supporters of Sliwa have noted that a low percentage of Republicans would vote for Cuomo even if Sliwa endorsed him. They wouldn’t show up at all, which would hurt Republicans in other races.

Sliwa has not responded to Ackman’s accusation as of the posting of this article. We will update it if more is revealed.

Starting the Day With a Scripture-Inspired Roast Helps Center Your Thoughts on Eternal Truths Amid Temporal Pressures

The world can seem chaotic, especially right after we wake up. Many believers start their mornings reaching for something familiar — a hot cup of coffee — yet end up settling for mediocre brews that do little more than deliver a caffeine jolt. The daily grind of life, with its endless distractions, news cycles, and responsibilities, can leave even the most faithful feeling spiritually parched alongside their physical fatigue. What if your morning ritual could do more than wake you up? What if it could ground you in truth, nourish your body with exceptional quality, and quietly advance a kingdom purpose at the same time?

That’s the promise — and the reality — behind Promised Grounds Coffee. This Christian-founded company doesn’t just roast beans; it approaches every step as an act of worship and discipleship. By selecting only the top 10% of specialty-grade beans, ethically sourced from dedicated farmers in Central and South America, and small-batch roasting them with reverence in Austin, Texas, Promised Grounds delivers what many describe as the best coffee available — never burnt, never bland, but rich with origin stories and layered flavors that honor God’s creation.

From the vibrant Psalm 27 Roast (a light, bright medium option) to the bold yet peaceful 2 Timothy 1:7 Decaf, each bag carries a Scripture verse that turns your daily pour into a gentle reminder of faith. And through their Ounce Per Ounce Promise, every ounce of coffee you enjoy provides an equal ounce of clean water to families in need via partnership with Filter of Hope — literally brewing hope for body and soul, one cup at a time.

The challenge for today’s Christians runs deeper than finding a decent cup. In an age of convenience-driven consumerism, it’s easy to support companies that dilute values or remain silent on matters of faith. Many believers want their everyday choices — from what they drink to how they spend — to reflect discipleship rather than just convenience. Promised Grounds solves this by weaving Christian excellence into the entire process: beans nurtured with prayerful stewardship by farming families, roasted as an offering rather than a commodity, and packaged with Bible verses to encourage a mindset of gratitude and purpose from the first sip. Reviewers consistently praise the smooth, rich profiles — whether enjoyed black in a drip maker, iced on a warm day, or shared in fellowship — noting how the quality stands toe-to-toe with premium secular brands while delivering something far more meaningful.

This integration of faith and flavor addresses a real need in Christian households and ministries. Busy parents, church leaders, and remote workers alike report that starting the day with a Scripture-inspired roast helps center their thoughts on eternal truths amid temporal pressures. The coffee’s exceptional character — bright citrus notes in lighter roasts or deep chocolate undertones in bolder ones — comes from meticulous selection and careful roasting that respects the bean’s natural gifts rather than masking them. It’s the kind of coffee that elevates a simple quiet time, fuels productive workdays, or sparks meaningful conversations when shared at Bible studies or outreach events. And because it’s ethically sourced with integrity, every purchase supports sustainable livelihoods for farmers who treat their crops like family harvests.

For those leading churches or small groups, the impact multiplies. Promised Grounds offers bundles and options perfect for hospitality ministries, turning ordinary coffee service into an opportunity to point people toward the living water of Christ. Imagine greeting visitors with a warm cup whose very bag carries God’s Word — a subtle yet powerful witness that aligns with the Great Commission. The company’s Texas roots and commitment to “brewing hope” resonate especially with believers who value American enterprise paired with global compassion.

Of course, quality alone isn’t enough if the experience feels out of reach. Promised Grounds keeps it accessible with practical perks like free shipping on orders over $40, sample sets for discovering favorites, and thoughtful add-ons such as faith-themed mugs. Whether you prefer whole beans for fresh grinding, grounds for convenience, or even bulk options for larger households and ministries, the result is consistently superior coffee that makes discipleship feel integrated rather than added on.

As you consider how to align even the smallest habits with your walk with God, Promised Grounds Coffee stands out as a refreshing solution. It tackles the dual problems of subpar daily sustenance and disconnected consumption by offering a product that genuinely excels in taste while advancing a mission of clean water, farmer dignity, and scriptural encouragement. Believers who make the switch often describe it as more than a beverage upgrade — it becomes part of their rhythm of gratitude, a daily invitation to remember that every good gift comes from above.

If you’re ready to transform your mornings (and perhaps your church gatherings) with coffee that honors both exceptional craftsmanship and Christian values, I encourage you to explore what Promised Grounds has to offer. One sip at a time, you’ll be nourishing your body, refreshing your spirit, and participating in something far greater — all while enjoying what truly is among the best coffee available.

That’s just dirty pool. If Silwa is so money hungry and you are so rich, then why didn’t he take your BRIBE to drop out? Here is the truth:
    1. You couldn’t bribe him so you’re trying to destroy him, you rich piece of schitt.
    2. Cuomo would not win anyway…NY is election fraud central, and the Dem candidate will win. Period.
    3. NY is a hell hole and deserves a hellish leader. It’s called “judgment.”
    4. The first campaign at least gets him exposure and experience.
    5. If family is on the payroll, so what? That is common politics.
    6. Sit down and shut up.

New York is going to get what it has sewn, but watching the corrupt uni-party establishment all desperate and crumbling is fun.

Sliwa is right, the Conservatives will not vote for Cumo. Talk Cumo into pulling out and see if the Repub can win even though the prognosticators say it can’t happen. Do not believe the talking heads, come on now. Stick to your guns and convictions.

FORTUNATELY, it’s all happening in new york…otherwise, it could have been a real tragedy. If you folks who live in new york weren’t meant to be shorn, you wouldn’t act like sheep. Looks like nobody is going to save you…again.

Ackman is such a slimy character. He spent years funding and advocating leftist causes, and now he wants to blame Sliwa for Zohran’s win. No sale Ackman. So a billionaire elitist wants to deflect the blame from the left to republicans.

In rank choice voting, Cuomo can pick up Sliwa’s votes anyways. Ackman is a liar, the matching funds are not for personal use.

I think we should follow the money on how Ackman got so rich.

Ackman is a Dimocrat, right? Just another cheap shot at Sliwa. Presumably Cuomo is also getting even more of those matching funds and that’s why he stays in the race without doing any campaign events. Sliwa was offered big bux to drop out and he didn’t so it’s not about money for him. Sliwa has been laying it all on the line for NYC since Hector was a pup. THAT’S who Sliwa really is.

Mamdami is reminiscent of Obama’s start. For Mamdani NY mayor is a stepping stone, Mandarin has his eyes on the top job.

Bill Ackman thought Charlie Kirk should stop speaking his mind about Israel – in other words, he should Shut Up. Then, a week after Bill Ackman intimidated Charlie Kirk, Charlie was dead. That Bill Ackman.

Seems fishy – billionaires couldn’t bribe Sliwa to quit, but Ackman expects us to believe that’s because Sliwa’s greedy and wants to take advantage of NY taxpayers instead?

Consider the source: a leftist billionaire who is supporting a leftist candidate (Cuomo) but is afraid NYers will actually vote for an islamic terrorist socialist instead.

This is the same Bill Aikman I went to high school with and as a senior in high school Ole Billyboy had a 6th grade 12 year old alleged girl friend who he was to marry because he was sooo in love.

But them got her pregnant and left her because he said it was her responsibility to be protected if she didn’t want to get pregnant.

    The dudette is a pedophile.
