(RAIR Foundation)—A new app called “ICE Block” is being proudly touted by TVOne as a “safety tool” for “undocumented immigrants” — but make no mistake: this is not a public service announcement, it’s a blatant tool for obstructing U.S. federal law enforcement and aiding and abetting illegal aliens.
Launched in April by a young activist named Joshua Aaron, ICE Block functions like Waze — but instead of warning drivers about traffic or accidents, it alerts users to the locations of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers in real time. With two taps, users can notify an entire network about the presence of immigration agents in their area. The alert automatically disappears after four hours, and, according to the developers, user identities are kept anonymous.
Let that sink in: an American-built app, distributed on Apple’s platform, is actively helping criminals evade justice, and it’s being applauded as a form of “community service.”
Shielding Criminals, Undermining Sovereignty
ICE’s mission is to enforce the immigration laws passed by Congress, including arresting and deporting individuals who have entered or remained in the U.S. illegally. Yet ICE Block turns ordinary citizens into real-time lookouts for foreign nationals who have violated our laws.
It is the digital equivalent of tipping off fugitives before a lawful arrest — but instead of being condemned, it’s celebrated. In fact, the app has reportedly already caused a 500% increase in interference complaints, and the Trump administration and law enforcement agencies have rightly expressed outrage.
